Last week, my student Joy was getting ready for an audition with a famous music band. Once she made up her mind to participate, we started practicing non-stop. In just one month, she had to master five assigned songs with perfect skills and musical performance. In the beginning, Joy was very dedicated and practiced enthusiastically. But as the audition date approached, her stress grew, and she often had nightmares about breaking her instrument and missing the exam. After one of our classes, she suddenly burst into tears and quietly asked her mom, "If I don't pass the audition, will you still love me?" Seeing the tears and sweat on her, her mom immediately replied without hesitation, "You silly child, I see all the effort you're putting in. Whether you pass the audition or not, our whole family is proud of you." When I heard that, my eyes welled up with tears. This mom is truly wise. Thinking of the story of the prodigal son in the Bible, it doesn't matter whether the child returns in glory or in poverty, the father still forgives and accepts him, just like how God accepts us with no conditions, loving us unconditionally despite our imperfections.
Thanks for watching. Your kind support is my motivation to continue delivering
God's love.
