Who wants to take care of a lonely mother forever?

During Chinese New Year, I often feel a lot of pressure as many relatives come together for the celebrations. My mom knows that some of our relatives' children have chosen not to get married so they can take care of their parents forever. At the dinner table, my mom said in front of everyone, "Men and women are naturally different. I raised you, my daughter, with the hope that you'd take care of me when I'm old. But now, you seem to have turned your back on me and are more interested in foreign cultures. I feel like a lonely and pitiful single mother." My aunts and uncles joined in and scolded me too. It became too much to bear, so I decided to leave. As I was leaving, my mom added, "Did I say anything wrong? Is this how you Christians treat your parents? Be careful; you might end up in hell."

I took a short video in the park after leaving home. It's only about 5 minutes long, but it captured the most peaceful moment of my day. After filming, I prayed to God, and I found comfort in knowing that He has the best plan for me, no matter the situation. Eventually, I decided to go back home and be with my family. After all, they are still my family, and I hope to share my faith with them because the Bible says, "If one person believes in the Lord, the whole family will be saved!"

Thanks for your watching.Your kind support is my motivation to continue delivering. God's love.
